337 EGG BAR 2002

        aerial   event

The brief was to design a bar for Tate events that could be transported and rapidly deployed between Tate Modern and Tate Britain. The bar is a modular assembly of 10 lightweight units that serve as ice buckets and tables, constructed by a speedboat manufacturer from sleek GRP and pressed polished stainless steel. The individual bar units are designed to turn relative to each other, allowing for flexibility in the total composition and the ability to adapt in different spaces. Units may be added or subtracted as necessary.
